Using Supplements with Children

There’s that old saying ‘never work with animals or children’. I actually love working and living with both, but as we know they come with their own unique set of demands and complications. I am often questioned about how best to work with children when it comes to nutrition, herbs and supplements, so I have put together some of the information that helps me. Often when it comes to trying to work out what dose to use in children, it can be an absolute quagmire of wading through pages to try and find the information you need. The trouble with therapeutic dosing (dosing a nutrient to get a desired therapeutic outcome) is it is often very rare to have research papers that have specifically been tested in children’s age ranges. This means there are several factors that you might need to check over first.
