Is the calprotectin test in the GI EcologiX the same as the one from an NHS GP?
Yes it is the same. The GI EcologiX test uses the Schebo 30-SCÂ Calprotectin Smart stool ELISA. We are a part of an external quality assurance program known as NEQAS to ensure we are getting a comparable result range to other laboratories in the UK
