I have an E-ring, (Estring) can I still perform the Vaginal EcologiX test?
The Vaginal EcologiX uses a self-swab, so please ensure it is not not uncomfortable when undertaking collecting the Vaginal EcologiX samples.
The oestrogen in the Estring will provide a favourable environment for the microbiome. Please inform your healthcare provider about your Estring so they can interpret the results with that in mind. We do not ask you to remove the Estring to test.
