Getting To The Guts Of Histamine Intolerance
An online training event from Lifecode Gx and Invivo examining how genetic polymorphisms, and your gut health and microbiome, may play a mediating role in the condition through the host interactions.
Description
Mast cells are immune cells that are important orchestrators of the immune response. When triggered, they activate themselves to breakdown and release important chemical mediators such as histamine, which goes on to quickly activate a co-ordinated immune response.
Histamine intolerance, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) is a condition in which the mast cells breakdown inappropriately, which in turn can cause a plethora of symptoms, such as hives or allergic responses, or other unusual symptoms such as changes in heart rate and pressure, skin rashes, breathing symptoms, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
Histamine intolerance is thought to develop due to a plethora of genetic and environmental factors, which often knowing about can help to provide targeted support for managing the condition.
In this focused training day, Lifecode Gx and Invivo have combined forces to examine how genetic polymorphisms, and your gut health and microbiome, may play a mediating role in the condition through the host interactions.
All proceeds from this course will go to our selected charities.
