When should Bio.Me Femme UT and should it be with or food?
Bio.Me Femme UT can be taken any time but should be without food and on an empty stomach.
This advice is based on our research partner’s dissolution studies in a gastric model. They found that on an empty stomach, the bacteria were in the stomach for a much shorter period of time, whereas with food they stay in the stomach much longer and are exposed to more enzymes. Either way bacteria reach the intestine, as all probiotics have to be acid stable to be classified as a probiotic. However, they found a higher live count in an empty stomach.
