Directions For Use
Mix 5g (3 tsp) daily into beverage of choice (hot or cold) or add to food.
Do not exceed the recommended dose, unless advised by your healthcare professional.
Suitable from 6 months
PHGG is normally well tolerated, but if you have a sensitive stomach, start with half a dose and build up gradually to the full dosage.
PHGG has been consumed by pregnant and lactating women for years, and it has been shown to be a safe way to improve regularity and reduce cramping and bloating. As with any supplement, however, please consult with your health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Yes, Bio.Me Prebio PHGG is suitable for long-term use when taken as directed.
What is the recommended serving?
The recommended serving size is – 5g. Because the density of the agglomerated PHGG is lower, 5g is approximately 3 teaspoons.
What is the difference between PHGG and guar gum?
PHGG is derived from guar gum that has been partially hydrolysed ('broken apart') by the action of enzymes, resulting in a much lower viscosity and highly soluble substance.
Why has the formula changed?
We decided to switch the type of PHGG we use to an ‘agglomerated’ grade. This means that the fibre dissolves much more easily in colder temperature water and is easier to take.

Easy shopping experience but I would to find a way to negate the postage costs. It appears to be flat rate regardless how bid or small the parcel.

I sought this for my husband who suffers IBS, following his Microba test report and interpretation. It appears to be working well and improving symptoms alongside the Bio.Me probiotic. It is well tolerated and super easy to use with just adding the powder to his morning decaf coffee. He uptitrated the dose from one teaspoon to three teaspoons per day over a 4 week period.
