Clinical grade Saccharomyces boulardii for the gastrointestinal microbiome.
Bio.Me Saccharomyces boulardii is a beneficial, non-colonising yeast species that has
proven in an extensive number of human trials to support the gut microbiome and has
been extensively used to support the gut at times of stress and changes in routines
including when travelling abroad.
Bio.Me Saccaromyces boulardii helps maintain and restore the integrity of the gut
barrier. Saccharomyces boulardii is a transient yeast, meaning that it does not colonise the gut
but exerts its effect as it travels through; it helps restore bacterial diversity after
disruption, particularly following antibiotic use. As a yeast it’s also naturally resistant to
antibacterial antibiotics, meaning it can survive when taken alongside antibiotic
therapy.

Ingredients

Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-1079, Capsule Shell: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose.

Key Benefits

Discover Invivo Bio.Me Saccharomyces boulardii - our powerful yeast species which has
consistently shown to support better gut resistance and gut wall resilience.

Shown to support the mucosal barrier and the gut microbiome

• Pathogen defence — S. boulardii produces proteases that can neutralise toxins
from opportunistic bacteria, and physically binds to harmful bacteria, preventing
them from adhering to the gut wall.
• Barrier function — It helps maintain and restore the integrity of the intestinal
epithelial barrier,
• Microbiome recovery — As a transient yeast it doesn't permanently colonise the
gut and it helps restore bacterial diversity after disruption, particularly following
antibiotic use

Supported by clinical data
Saccharomyces boulardii has been studied extensively in human trials, with consistent
evidence supporting its role in gut health across a range of populations and conditions.

Well tolerated
This product has been shown in human trials to be well tolerated when taken orally.

Rebalance the gut microbiome
Bio.Me Saccharomyces boulardii is suitable to be taken alongside or after a course of
antibiotics. Its effect on microbial balance during and after antibiotic use has been
demonstrated in human trials.
